Product Care Guide

With regular care and maintenance, your Axis Office furniture will provide years of performance and satisfaction. To help preserve the finish and appearance of your furniture, please follow the care and cleaning guidelines below.

Move with Care Avoid dragging furniture. Lift and move it from the base to help protect the structure and legs.
Protect from Sunlight Direct sunlight can discolor and damage wood and upholstery over time.
Avoid Heat & Moisture Keep furniture away from intense heat, high humidity, and excess moisture.
Use Gentle Cleaners Clean with soft cloths and mild products. Avoid abrasive or harsh chemical cleaners.

General Care Recommendations

  • Avoid dragging furniture, as this can damage the structure and legs.
  • When moving furniture, lift it from the base rather than pulling or dragging it.
  • Avoid exposing furniture to direct sunlight, as ultraviolet rays can discolor and damage wood and upholstery.
  • If furniture is placed near windows, use solar filter curtains or blinds for protection.
  • Keep furniture more than 20 inches away from intense heat sources such as fireplaces or radiators.
  • Place furniture in dry, well-ventilated environments to help maintain its condition.

Laminate Care

  • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, high humidity, extreme heat or cold, and moisture.
  • Dust frequently with a soft, damp, clean cloth.
  • You may also use a mild detergent solution when needed.
  • Avoid chemical or abrasive cleaning compounds.
  • To prevent buildup from cleaning agents, rinse the laminate surface with warm water and wipe with a clean damp cloth.

Veneer Care

Normal Cleaning

  • Dust furniture with a slightly damp, soft, lint-free cloth.
  • Wipe dry with a soft cloth in the direction of the wood grain.

Once a Month

  • Clean the surface with a soft cloth dampened with a quality cleaner formulated for wood furniture.
  • Wipe in the direction of the wood grain to remove dirt and fingerprints.
  • Wipe dry with a clean, dry cloth.

Twice a Year

  • Apply a good-quality furniture polish with a clean, soft cloth.

Glass Care

  • Clean with a soft cloth and a mild, non-alkaline detergent using moderate pressure.
  • Use detergents that are free of silicone and other polishing additives that may leave residue or streaks.
  • Do not use abrasive or caustic cleaners.
  • Avoid excessive pressure or hard scrubbing, as this may damage painted frost glass surfaces.
  • Wipe the glass surface dry after cleaning, since liquids left on the surface may cause staining.

Stone Care

Normal Cleaning

  • Wash with a soft cloth using a mixture of mild detergent and warm water.
  • Rinse with warm water and wipe dry with a clean, soft cloth.
  • For routine maintenance, rinse the tabletop with warm water to remove surface dirt and wipe dry.

Spills

  • Wipe up acid-based liquids such as coffee, wine, and fruit juice immediately with a clean, soft cloth.
  • The longer a spill remains on the surface, the more difficult it may be to remove and it may stain.

Avoid

  • Do not use abrasive, acid-based, alcohol-based, or solvent-based cleaners, as they may damage the surface.
